I founded Shawissto (Share Wisdom Stories) because I believe every person, every family, and every community carries wisdom worth preserving. Stories are how we survive. Stories are how we rise.
Where the Journey Begins
My journey began with a childhood dream. One airplane ride to New York City — my mother and sisters beside me, the skyline glowing beneath the wings — and my whole world opened. I met my first Black flight attendant that day. I held my first pair of wings. And I knew I would spend my life moving between cultures, people, and possibilities.
